Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism Strategic Framework Hui Registration

Overview

DPMC would like to hear from people and organisations who want to be involved in the development of an Aotearoa Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism Strategic Framework.

We want to hear your thoughts about radicalisation and violent extremism in New Zealand:

• What kinds of problems do we have in Aotearoa New Zealand regarding radicalisation and violent extremism?
• What concerns you now, and in the future?
• Why is preventing and countering violent extremism important?
• How do you think we can prevent and counter violent extremism?

We are inviting people to attend one of four public hui to discuss these issues. Please register using this form, indicating which session you would like to attend. You can also indicate if you are interested in this project, but unable to attend any of these sessions.

All personal information collected through the registration will be held securely, and used only for the purposes of confirming hui attendance.

What happens next

Registrations for the hui are now closed. There will be opportunites to contibute to the development of an Aotearoa Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism Strategic Framework in the coming months.
